The Forum for Women Parliamentarians fostered links between female members of Parliament and women's organizations with a view to promoting the discussion of gender issues in Parliament.

An issue such as the prevention of violence against women can be successfully introduced into public policy through strategic alliances developed between women’s organizations, women in Parliament and international organizations.
ومسألة مثل منع العنف ضد النساء يمكن طرحها ضمن السياسة العامة عبر تحالفات استراتيجية بين المنظمات النسائية والنساء في البرلمان والمنظمات الدولية.
