8. Invites States parties to make every effort to facilitate the adoption of the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict before the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
8- تدعو الدول الأطراف إلى بذل قصارى جهدها لتيسير اعتماد البروتوكول الاختياري المتعلق باشتراك الأطفال في المنازعات المسلحة قبل الاحتفال بالذكرى السنوية العاشرة لاعتماد اتفاقية حقوق الطفل.

2. The Republic of Belarus approves the terms of the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflicts in so far as they do not contradict Belarusian national legislation.

18. The Committee was informed that the initial report of the Czech Republic (CRC/C/OPAC/CZE/1) had been received under the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict since the end of its thirtyninth session.

103. The Committee welcomes the assurances given by the State party during the dialogue that the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography is imminent and that steps have been taken to ratify the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict.
103- ترحب اللجنة بما أكدته الدولة الطرف خلال الحوار من أنها على وشك التصديق على البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل المتعلق ببيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية، وأنها قد اتخذت خطوات للتصديق على البروتوكول الاختياري المتعلق باشتراك الأطفال في النـزاعات المسلحة.

It further recommends that the State party ratify the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict, which it signed on 15 March 2001, and extend its application to the Hong Kong and Macau SARs.
