It is occupied by the Permanent Mission of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to the United Nations, and part of it also serves as the residence of the Jamahiriya's Permanent Representative.
وكانت الجماهيرية العربية الليبية تمتلك المبنى المسمى بيت ليبيا وهو مبنى من 24 طابقا يقع في 309 شرق شارع 48 بحي مانهاتن، وتشغله البعثة الدائمة للجماهيرية العربية الليبية لدى الأمم المتحدة، ويستخدم جزء منه كذلك مقرا لإقامة المندوب الدائم للجماهيرية.
