The riparian States and international organizations concerned asked for the Committee's assistance, stressing the importance for safe international navigation on the Danube of the Iron Gates I system being properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
وطلبت الدول المشاطئة والمنظمات الدولية المعنية المساعدة من اللجنة مؤكدة على ما لصيانة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى وإصلاحها على نحو سليم وتوقيت مناسب من أهمية لسلامة الملاحة الدولية في نهر الدانوب.

10. On the basis of a report by the Executive Director of the Danube Commission, the Committee notified the President of the Security Council that a further period of 60 days was required for completion of the necessary repairs to the locks of the Iron Gates I system.
٠١ - وعلى أساس تقرير من المدير التنفيذي للجنة الدانوب، أخطرت اللجنة رئيس مجلس اﻷمن بأن أعمال الاصلاح اللازمة ﻷهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى تتطلب ٠٦ يوما إضافيا.

38. The Committee paid special attention to matters related to the Iron Gates I and II systems on the Danube, in view of their critical importance to Danube navigation.
٨٣ - وقد أولت اللجنة اهتماما خاصا للمسائل المتعلقة بشبكتي البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى والثانية على نهر الدانوب، نظرا ﻷهميتها الحرجة بالنسبة للملاحة في الدانوب.

Intensified erosion has affected all types of hydro-reservoirs and caused a long-term change in the hydrological regime, including the international flow of the Danube river in the area of the Iron Gates reservoir.
وأثرت زيادة التحات على جميع أنواع الخزانات المائية وسببت تغيرا طويل اﻷجل في النظام المائي، بما في ذلك التدفق الدولي لنهر الدانوب في منطقة خزان البوابات الحديدية.

4. Further requests the Government of Romania to deny passage through the locks of the Iron Gates I system on the left hand bank of the Danube to any vessel using the locks of the Iron Gates I system under the authority of paragraph 1 above which is identified as being a party to any suspected or substantiated violation of the relevant Council resolutions;
٤ - يطلب كذلك الى حكومة رومانيا ألا تسمح بالمرور عبر أهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى الواقعة على الضفة اليسرى للدانوب ﻷي سفينة تستخدم أهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى بمقتضى الفقرة ١ أعلاه، إذا تبين أنها طرف في أي انتهاك يشتبه فيه أو ثابت لقرارات المجلس ذات الصلة؛

Based on a report by the Executive Director of the Danube Commission, the Chairman of the Committee, on 22 June 1995, apprised the President of the Security Council that preparations for the repairs to the locks of the Iron Gates I system on the right hand bank of the Danube had been completed.
واستنادا إلى تقرير من المدير التنفيذي للجنة الدانوب، أبلغ رئيس اللجنة في ٢٢ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٥ رئيس مجلس اﻷمن بأن الاستعدادات قد اكتملت ﻹصلاح أهوسة نظام البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى على الضفة اليمنى لنهر الدانوب.

The Committee also approved a request from Romania to provide the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia with certain supplies essential to the repair of the locks of the Iron Gates I system, in accordance with resolution 992 (1995).
ووافقت اللجنة أيضا على طلب من رومانيا بأن يسمح لها بتزويد جمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية بلوازم معينة ذات أهمية أساسية ﻹصلاح أهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى، وذلك وفقا للقرار ٢٩٩ )٥٩٩١(.

By its resolution 992 (1995) of 11 May 1995, the Security Council decided, inter alia, to permit the use by vessels of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro) of the locks of the Iron Gates I system on the left-hand bank of the Danube while repairs were carried out to the locks on the right-hand bank.
وبموجب قراره ٩٩٢ )١٩٩٥( المؤرخ ١١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٥ قرر مجلس اﻷمن، في جملة أمور، السماح للسفن التابعة لجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية )صربيا والجبل اﻷسود( باستخدام أهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى على الضفة اليسرى للدانوب أثناء الاضطلاع بأعمال اﻹصلاح لﻷهوسة القائمة على الضفة اليمنى للدانوب.

This measure was adopted in view of the exceptional circumstances and at the request of Romania, supported by other Danube riparian States, the Danube Commission and the European Union/Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (EU/OSCE) Sanctions Coordinator, who stressed the importance for safe international navigation on the Danube of the Iron Gates I system being properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
فقد اتخذ القرار في ضوء الظروف الاستثنائية وبناء على طلب رومانيا، التي أيدتها في ذلك الدول اﻷخرى المطلة على نهر الدانوب، ولجنة الدانوب، ومنسق الجزاءات التابع للاتحاد اﻷوروبي ومنظمة اﻷمن والتعاون في أوروبا الذي شدد على أهمية صيانة وإصلاح شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى في الوقت المناسب وبصورة سليمة بالنسبة للملاحة الدولية اﻵمنة في نهر الدانوب.

On behalf of the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 724 (1991) concerning Yugoslavia, and in accordance with paragraph 2 of Security Council resolution 992 (1995), I have the honour to apprise you of a report dated 14 June 1995 by the Danube Commission that they are satisfied that preparations for the repairs to the locks of the Iron Gates I system on the right hand bank of the Danube have been completed.
باسم لجنة مجلس اﻷمن المنشأة عملا بالقرار ٧٢٤ )١٩٩١( بشأن يوغوسلافيا، ووفقا للفقرة ٢ من قرار المجلس ٩٩٢ )١٩٩٥(، أتشرف بأن أحيطكم علما بتقرير مؤرخ ١٤ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٥ من لجنة الدانوب بأنها على قناعة من اكتمال اﻷعمال التحضيرية لعملية إصلاح أهوسة شبكة البوابات الحديدية اﻷولى على الضفة اليمنى للدانوب.
