Taking note of the proposal submitted by the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme for the establishment in the Programme of a regional centre for South Asia, to be located in Colombo, Sri Lanka,
وإذ يحيط علماً بالاقتراح الذي قدمه برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا لإنشاء مركز إقليمي لجنوب آسيا في البرنامج يكون مقره في كولومبو، سري لانكا،

Taking note of decision 9.3.5 taken by the Governing Council of the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme at its tenth meeting,
وإذ يحيط علماً بالمقرر 9-3-5 الذي اتخذه مجلس إدارة برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا خلال اجتماعه العاشر،

Invites the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme to update the proposal in the light of the outcome of these consultations and of new information provided in relation to the outstanding issues identified by the Secretariat in the original review of the proposal;
يدعو برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا إلى تحديث اقتراحه في ضوء ما ستسفر عنه هذه المشاورات والمعلومات الجديدة التي تقدم فيما يتعلق بالقضايا العالقة التي حددتها الأمانة في الاستعراض الأصلي للاقتراح،

Requests the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme to submit to the Open-ended Working Group an updated proposal for the establishment in the Programme of a regional centre for South Asia, to be located in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

2. Proposal for the establishment of a regional centre for South Asia at the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme

The ninth meeting of the Governing Council of the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) was held in Thimphu, Bhutan, from 24 to 26 August 2005.
51 - عقد الاجتماع التاسع لمجلس إدارة برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا في ثيمفو ببوتان في الفترة من 24 إلى 26 آب/أغسطس 2005.

The meeting is convened by UNEP in collaboration with the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme and the Stockholm Environment Institute and is hosted by the Government of India with financial support from the Swedish International Development Agency.

وإذ يلاحظ مع الرضا بأن توسيع شبكة أعمال الشعاب المرجانية الدولية بوصفها شركة من النوع الثاني لتشمل المنظمة الإقليمية لحماية البيئة البحرية، والمنظمة الإقليمية لحفظ البيئة البحرية للبحر الأحمر وخليج عدن وبرنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا قد أعلن عنها أثناء القمة العالمية المعنية بالتنمية المستدامة،

Additional work has been undertaken to support activities related to the conservation, management and sustainable use of coral reefs and related resources in South Asia, in collaboration with the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme and other partners in the region.
وقد تم القيام بمزيد من العمل لدعم الأنشطة المتعلقة بالحفظ، والإدارة والإستخدام المستدام للشعاب المرجانية والموارد ذات الصلة في جنوب آسيا، وذلك بالتعاون مع برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا والنماذج الأخرى في المنطقة.

The representative of the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme said that several member countries had been consulted, and that two had expressed their willingness to be part of a regional centre for South Asia.
38 - قال ممثل برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا بأنه تم التشاور مع العديد من البلدان الأعضاء في المركز، وأن اثنتين منها أعربتا عن استعدادهما لأن يكونا طرفين في مركز إقليمي لجنوب آسيا.

The Working Group took note of the information provided by the Secretariat but was unable to support the proposal for the establishment of a regional centre for South Asia under the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme at the current time.
39 - أحاط الفريق العامل علماً بالمعلومات المقدمة من الأمانة، ولكن لم يكن بوسعه أن يؤيد الاقتراح بشأن إنشاء مركز إقليمي لجنوب آسيا في إطار برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا في الوقت الراهن.

It had before it notes by the Secretariat on a proposal for the establishment of a regional centre for South Asia under the South Asia Cooperative Environment Programme (UNEP/CHW/OEWG/7/5 and UNEP/CHW/OEWG/7/INF/5).
وكان معروضاً على الفريق مذكرتان من الأمانة بخصوص الاقتراح بشأن إنشاء مركز إقليمي لجنوب آسيا في إطار برنامج البيئة التعاوني لجنوب آسيا (الوثيقتان UNEP/CHW/OEWG/7/5 وUNEP/CHW/OEWG/7/INF/5).

The South Asian Cooperative Environment Programme (SACEP) has been designated as the secretariat for the implementation of the Action Plan.
