اذا قررت الدولة الطرف الاعلان عن جزء من التقرير، جاز للجنة الفرعية، بعد التشاور مع الدولة الطرف المعنية ]وبموافقتها[ أن تصدر بياناً علنياً أو أن تنشر التقرير كله أو جزءاً منه لضمان عرض مضمون التقرير على نحو متوازن.

18. Costa Rica supports the adoption of this new article but suggests that paragraph 2 should read: “Seek further clarification, information or comments from any source, including where applicable the sources of the original information”, and that paragraph 3 (a) should read: “Such a visit could take place after consultation with the State party concerned.”
٨١- تعرب كوستاريكا عن موافقتها على إدراج هذه المادة الجديدة. إلا أنها تقترح أن تنص الفقرة الفرعية )أ( من الفقرة ٢ على ما يلي: " أن تلتمس المزيد من الايضاحات أو المعلومات أو التعليقات من أي مصدر، وخاصة من مصادر المعلومات اﻷصلية " ؛ وأن تنص الفقرة الفرعية )أ( من الفقرة ٣ على ما يلي: " يمكن أن تجري هذه الزيارة بعد التشاور مع الدولة الطرف المعنية " .
