The Panel considers that the exclusion from compensation stated in Decision 11 of the Governing Council is applicable only to members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces that were integrated as units under the command of the Allied Coalition Armed Forces.

The Committee notes the information included in the report regarding the remedies available in the State party to persons who claim to be victims of acts of racial discrimination, as well as the additional information provided by the delegation regarding the right to compensation set out in article 58 of the Omani Criminal Code.
367- وتلاحظ اللجنة المعلومات الواردة في التقرير بخصوص سبل الانتصاف المتاحة في الدولة الطرف للأشخاص الذين يدعون أنهم ضحايا لأفعال تنطوي على تمييز عنصري، فضلاً عن المعلومات الإضافية التي وفرها الوفد فيما يتعلق بالحق في التعويض المنصوص عليه في المادة 58 من القانون الجنائي العماني.

The heirs of those covered by the Act are entitled to the compensation provided for under the Act in the event of the death of the person concerned.
