A United Nations staff college is being established to foster management excellence and to provide staff with refresher training over the course of their careers.
ويجري حاليا إنشاء كلية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة لتدعيم التفوق اﻹداري ولتدريب الموظفين في مجالات المعرفة المتطورة على مدار حياتهم المهنية.

The country note was a means by which the UNICEF country office would demonstrate its accountability in the application of UNICEF policies, which was an important part of the management excellence initiative.
وأضـاف أن المذكرة القطرية هي وسيلة يثبت بها المكتب القطري لليونيسيف مسؤوليته عن تطبيق سياسات اليونيسيف، وهذا جزء هام من مبادرة التفوق اﻹداري.

The secretariat looked forward to organizing inter-sessional meetings and would invite members to attend staff discussions on management excellence activities.

16. Some delegations said that UNICEF management excellence efforts should take into account reform activities being undertaken by other United Nations bodies.
١٦ - وذكرت بعض الوفود أن جهود التفوق اﻹداري في اليونيسيف ينبغي أن تأخذ في الاعتبار أنشطة اﻹصلاح التي تضطلع بها هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة.

3. Endorses the recommendation of the Executive Director that management excellence now be considered " mainstreamed " and that subsequent reporting on performance be included under the relevant agenda items, with special attention to identifying aspects of accountability, particularly elements of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency, in the delivery of agreed programme objectives.

11. The Executive Board had before it a progress report on the management excellence programme in UNICEF (E/ICEF/1996/AB/L.3), which was introduced by the Executive Director.

Built on progress achieved in the management excellence Programme (MEP), the MTP identified priorities for strengthening management and operations focusing on four areas: (a) human resources management; (b) the supply function; (c) integrated management information systems; and (d) information management and technology.
