28- وقال إنَّه ينبغي للأمانة أن تشجِّع على زيادة مشاركة مراكز التعاون الصناعي بين بلدان الجنوب ومراكز التكنولوجيا الدولية في تنفيذ أنشطة التعاون التقني في مجال الطاقة والبيئة.

This " international technology gap " is one of the main causes of the rapidly expanding socio-economic gap between rich and poor nations and constitutes a major challenge for developing countries in their efforts to achieve the development goals.
