It welcomes the legislative and institutional advances made in the effort to combat Racial Discrimination since the State party's submission of its last report, including:

29. Cameroon has been a State party to the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination since 24 June 1973.

٤٠ - وذكرت أن فنزويلا طرف في الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري منذ عام ١٩٦٩ وأن مختلف الحكومات الديمقراطية في فنزويلا قد اتخذت خطوات لضمان تنفيذ أحكام الاتفاقية.

It is worth mentioning in this connection that the National Commission for Human Rights has not received a single complaint regarding Racial Discrimination since it was established in 1990 and that the United Nations Centre for Human Rights has not transmitted to the Government of Mexico any substantiated communications concerning racial discrimination.
وجدير بالذكر في هذا الصدد أن اللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الانسان لم تتلق شكوى واحدة بشأن التمييز العنصري منذ إنشائها في عام ٠٩٩١ بالاضافة الى أن مركز اﻷمم المتحدة لحقوق الانسان لم يحل الى حكومة المكسيك أية بلاغات موثقة بشأن التمييز العنصري.

The Committee notes with appreciation the legislative and policy developments in the State party to combat racial discrimination, since its last report, including:
٤- تلاحظ اللجنة مع الارتياح التطورات التشريعية والسياساتية التي حققتها الدولة الطرف في مجال مكافحة التمييز العنصري منذ تقريرها الأخير، بما في ذلك:

Mr. Sicilianos stated that, despite the controversies, it ought to be noted that many States had ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination since 2001, thus showing a greater interest in the fight against racism.
وذكر السيد سيسيليانوس أنه بالرغم من وجود الخلافات، تجب الإشارة إلى أن العديد من الدول قد صدقت على الاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري منذ عام 2001، مما يدل على زيادة الاهتمام بمكافحة العنصرية.

The Committee welcomes the legislative, institutional and other measures taken by the State party to combat Racial Discrimination since the examination of the last periodic report of the State party in 2001, in particular:
3- ترحب اللجنة بالتدابير التشريعية والمؤسسية وغيرها من التدابير التي اتخذتها الدولة الطرف بهدف مكافحة التمييز العنصري منذ النظر، عام 2001، في تقريرها الدوري الأخير، ولا سيما بالتدابير التالية:

While it is noted with appreciation that Solomon Islands has recently submitted initial reports to the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and to the Committee on the Rights of the Child, it is regretted that a report has not been submitted to the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination since the State party's initial report in 1983.
233- وتلاحظ اللجنة مع الارتياح أن جزر سليمان قدمت مؤخراً تقارير أولية إلى لجنة الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية وإلى لجنة حقوق الطفل، لكنها تأسف لأن الدولة الطرف لم تقدم أي تقرير إلى لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري منذ أن قدمت تقريرها الأولي في عام 1983.
