In this connection, the Committee recalls section VI of General Assembly resolution 59/296 of 22 June 2005, in which the Assembly noted that reinsertion activities were part of the disarmament and demobilization process.

29. He drew the Committee's attention to the provision of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B, which reaffirmed the responsibilities of the Fifth Committee and the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions in administrative and budgetary matters.
29 - ووجَّه انتباه اللجنة إلى الحكم الوارد في الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء، الذي أعاد تأكيد مسؤوليات اللجنة الخامسة واللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية بصدد المسائل المتعلقة بشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

INTRODUCTION 1. In section VI of its resolution 46/185 B, entitled " Publications policy " , the General Assembly:
١ - في الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة ٦٤/٥٨١ باء، المعنون " سياسة المنشورات " ، قامت الجمعية العامة بما يلي:

Review and reflect the progress of the implementation of the Mission's activities relating to disarmament, demobilization and reintegration in the context of the Mission's revised budget for the period from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008, reaffirming in this regard section VI of General Assembly resolution 59/296.
تطلب استعراض وبيان التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ أنشطة البعثة فيما يتعلق بنـزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج وذلك في سياق الميزانية المنقحة للبعثة للفترة من 1 تموز/يوليه 2007 إلى 30 حزيران/يونيه 2008، وتؤكد، في هذا الصدد، من جديد الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 59/296.

The attention of the Committee is drawn to the provisions of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B of 21 December 1990, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee was the appropriate Main Committee of the Assembly entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters and reaffirmed also the role of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
14 - ويُسترعى انتباه اللجنة إلى أحكام الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء المؤرخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1990، الذي أكدت فيه الجمعية العامة من جديد على أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية التابعة للجمعية العامة، المختصة بالمسؤولية عن المسائل الإدارية ومسائل الميزانية؛ وأكدت فيه من جديد أيضا على دور اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

4. Rule 104.14, Appointment and Promotion Board, is amended to implement the managed reassignment programme for Junior Professional staff in accordance with section III.D of General Assembly resolution 51/226, pending the coming into force of the revised rule on central review bodies, as amended by section VI of General Assembly resolution 55/258.
4 - وعدلت القاعدة 104/14، مجلس التعيين والترقية من أجل تنفيذ برنامج إعادة الانتداب المنظم للموظفين الفنيين المبتدئين وفقا للجزء الثالث دال من قرار الجمعية العامة 51/226، ريثما يبدأ نفاذ القاعدة المنقحة المتعلقة بهيئات الاستعراض المركزية، بالصيغة التي عدلت بها في الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 55/258.

5. As paragraph 10 of draft resolution A/C.3/60/L.15/Rev.1 dealt with administrative and budgetary matters, the attention of the Third Committee was drawn to the provisions of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that administrative and budgetary matters should be dealt with by the Fifth Committee and the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
5 - لما كانت الفقرة 10 من مشروع القرار A/C.3/60.L.15/Rev.1 تعالج المسائل الإدارية ومسائل الميزانية، فقد وُجه انتباه اللجنة الثالثة إلى أحكام الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء، الذي أكدت فيه الجمعية من جديد أن المسائل الإدارية ومسائل الميزانية ينبغي أن تتناولها اللجنة الخامسة واللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

26. Regarding resolutions 50/1, 50/4, 50/8, 50/9 and 50/11, the attention of the Commission was drawn to the provisions of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee was the appropriate Main Committee of the Assembly entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters, and reaffirmed the role of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
26 - وفيما يتعلق بالقرارات 50/1 و 50/4 و 50/8 و 50/9 و 50/11، وُجّه انتباه اللجنة إلى أحكام الجزء السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء، الذي أكدت فيه الجمعية العامة من جديد أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية التابعة للجمعية العامة، المنوطة بالمسؤولية عن المسائل الإدارية ومسائل الميزانية، وأكدت من جديد صحة الدور الذي تؤديه اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

In section VI of its resolution 59/276 of 23 December 2004, the General Assembly approved the participation of the United Nations, along with the other organizations located in the Vienna International Centre, in the arrangements for a proposed new conference facility within the boundaries of the Centre.
