The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) is a non-governmental organization composed of 167 member societies and organizations representing 103 countries and areas.

The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), an associate of CEOS, was mandated by CEOS to assume that responsibility.

(b) Welcomed the support of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing in helping the Secretariat to conduct this particular study, recognized that the present project between the International Society and the Committee of Experts was an excellent model for future collaboration, and encouraged further collaboration of that kind;

The Working Group of the Whole also agreed that the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing could develop a proposal containing objectives, products to be delivered and a work plan of a possible action team for that recommendation and that the proposal could be submitted, through the interested Member State, which would act as the chairman of the action team, to the Committee at its forty-fifth session for review and approval.

The second keynote address was made by the President of ISPRS on the topic of the value of monitoring the Earth from air and space.
وقدَّم رئيس الجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بعد الكلمة الرئيسية الثانية عن موضوع فوائد رصد الأرض من الجو والفضاء.

It also took note of the activities of ISPRS in promoting international cooperation in remote sensing and image processing.
وأحاطت اللجنة علما أيضا بأنشطة الجمعية الدولية للمسح التصويري والاستشعار عن بعد المتعلقة بتعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجال الاستشعار عن بعد ومعالجة الصور .
