Many teachers participate in the affairs of the State as deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly and the people's assemblies at all levels.

The Central Court is held accountable before the Supreme People's Assembly or the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly not for the judicial proceedings, namely hearing of and passing judgement on cases, but for the administrative work related to justice, that is, recruitment and training of personnel and logistics.

While noting that women make up approximately 20 per cent of the deputies to the eleventh Supreme People's Assembly, and 30 per cent of the local people's assemblies, the Committee expresses concern that the number of women in decision-making positions remains low in politics, the judiciary and the civil service.
61 - ولاحظت اللجنة أنه في حين أن النساء يشكلن حوالي 20 في المائة من النائبات في الجمعية الشعبية العليا الحادية عشرة، و 30 في المائة في الجمعيات الشعبية المحلية، فإنها تعرب عن قلقها من أن عدد النساء في وظائف صنع القرار في المجال السياسي وفي الخدمات القضائية والمدنية يظل ضعيفا.

As stated in paragraph 24 of the report, in the event of a state of emergency, Decision No. 10 of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly provided that " the concrete legislation concerning the proclamation of a state of war and mobilization order shall be adopted separately in conformity with the actual situation of war.

25. the SPA is the highest power organ of the Republic.

The Cabinet consists of the Premier, Vice-Premiers, Chairmen, Ministers and other members as required and its term of office is the same as that of the SPA.
ويتكون مجلس الوزراء من رئيس الوزراء ونواب رئيس الوزراء ورؤساء اللجان والوزراء وغيرهم من الأعضاء حسب الاقتضاء، ومدة ولايته هي نفس مدة ولاية الجمعية الشعبية العليا.

17. The Committee recommends that the State party take all appropriate measures to ensure full implementation of the present recommendations inter alia by transmitting them to the members of the Supreme Peoples Assembly (Parliament), the Ministry of Defence and to local authorities, where applicable, for appropriate consideration and further action.
17- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تتخذ جميع التدابير المناسبة لضمان التنفيذ الكامل لهذه التوصيات بوسائل منها إحالتها إلى أعضاء الجمعية الشعبية العليا (البرلمان) ووزارة الدفاع والسلطات المحلية، عند الاقتضاء، للنظر فيها على النحو المناسب واتخاذ المزيد من الإجراءات.
