5. The Fifth Committee recommends that the General Assembly confirm the appointment by the Secretary-General of the following persons as members of the Investments Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2007:

5. The Fifth Committee recommends that the General Assembly confirm the appointment by the Secretary-General of Achim Kassow (Germany) and the reappointment of William McDonough (United States of America) and Hélène Ploix (France) as members of the Investments Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2008.
5 - توصي اللجنة الخامسة الجمعية العامة بإقرار تعيين الأمين العام لأتشيم كاسوف (ألمانيا) وإعادة تعيين وليام ماكدوناه (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية) وهيلين بلوا (فرنسا) أعضاء في لجنة الاستثمارات لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/ يناير 2008.

Since the number of candidates was equal to the number of vacancies, he took it that the Committee wished to recommend to the General Assembly confirmation of the three persons appointed by the Secretary-General to the Investments Committee.
ولما كان عدد المرشحين مساويا لعدد الشواغر، اعتبر الرئيس أن اللجنة تود توصية الجمعية العامة بإقرار تعيين الأشخاص الذين رشحهم الأمين العام لعضوية لجنة الاستثمارات.

10. The Committee recommended that the Assembly should confirm the appointment of Mr. McDonough (United States of America), Ms. Ploix (France) and Mr. Reimnitz (Germany) to the Investments Committee for a three-year term beginning on 1 January 2005.
10 - وأوصت اللجنة الجمعية العامة بإقرار تعيين السيد مكدونوغ (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية) والسيدة بلوا (فرنسا) والسيد ريمنـتـز (ألمانيا) في لجنة الاستثمارات لولاية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2005.
