٤ - تطلب أيضا الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين بشأن الردود الواردة، وذلك لتمكينها، في تلك الدورة، من أن توصي الجمعية في دورتها الخمسين ببرنامج زمني دقيق وجدول أعمال للاجتماع التذكاري الخاص وببرنامج زمني مقترح لاجراء المناقشة العامة في الدورة الخمسين.

Pursuant to the request contained in the same resolution, the Secretary-General submitted a report to the General Assembly at its forty-ninth session on concrete measures taken to alleviate the situation of children in armed conflicts (A/49/411).
وعملاً بالطلب الوارد في نفس القرار، قدم اﻷمين العام تقريراً إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين بشأن التدابير المحددة المتخذة للتخفيف من حدة حالة اﻷطفال في المنازعات المسلحة )A/49/411(.

Last November, the judges of the International Court of Justice heard two weeks of argument to assist them in rendering the Advisory Opinion requested by the General Assembly at its forty-ninth session on the question: Is the threat or use of nuclear weapons in any circumstances permitted under international law?

The Assembly also requested the Secretary-General to submit an interim report to the Commission on Human Rights at its fiftieth session 2/ and a final report to the Assembly at its forty-ninth session on the strengthening of the Centre and on the measures taken to implement the resolution.
وكذلك، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا مؤقتا إلى لجنة حقوق الانسان في دورتها الخمسي)٢( وتقريرا ختاميا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين بشأن تعزيز المركز، وبشأن التدابير المتخذة لتنفيذ هذا القرار.
