وعملا بالقرار ٥١/١٠١ المؤرخ ١٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٦، المعنون " ثقافة السلام " ، سيقدم اﻷمين العام، بالتنسيق مع المدير العام لليونسكو، تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثانية والخمسين عن التقدم المحرز في اﻷنشطة المضطلع بها في إطار مشروع اليونسكو المتعدد التخصصات المعنون " نحو ثقافة للسلام " .
