5. By its resolution 489 (XVI) of 2 December 2005, the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization accepted the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies as applied to itself.

3. Such requests may be addressed to the International Court of Justice by the General Assembly or by the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization acting in pursuance of an authorization by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization.
3 - يجوز توجيه هذه الطلبات إلى محكمة العدل الدولية من جانب الجمعية العامة أو المجلس التنفيذي لمنظمة السياحة العالمية الذي يتصرف عملا بالإذن الذي تمنحه الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية.

In May 1995, after studying various pension schemes, the Executive Council of WTO had recommended that that organization should again request membership in UNJSPF, and the General Assembly of WTO had endorsed that recommendation.

In the case in question, it was agreed, by mutual consent between the Under-Secretary-General, the United Nations Legal Counsel, and the WTO Legal Counsel, to facilitate the process in order to avoid unduly delaying final approval of the annex by the WTO General Assembly, which meets only every two years.

In this regard, an evaluation scheme for tourism websites, which might be of use for benchmarking by developing countries, was launched at the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in November 2005.
وفي هذا الصدد، طُرح برنامج لتقييم المواقع الإلكترونية السياحية أثناء الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2005، وقد يعود بالنفع في أغراض القياس في البلدان النامية.

Accordingly, a draft annex was drawn up in cooperation with the Office of the Legal Counsel of the United Nations and approved in advance by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization at its session in Cartagena de Indias in November 2007.

In view of the fact that the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization meets only every two years and its last session was held in December 2005, the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization seeks to obtain approval of the draft annex by the Economic and Social Council prior to its session in 2007.
4 - ونظرا إلى أن الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية لا تنعقد إلا مرة واحدة كل سنتين وأن دورتها الأخيرة قد عقدت في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2005، فإن الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية تلتمس موافقة المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي على مشروع المرفق قبل عقد دورتها المقبلة في عام 2007.

31. In October 2011, at its nineteenth session, the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization adopted a resolution on accessible tourism, in which it requested its secretariat to prepare accessibility guidelines for various areas of the tourism industry.
31 -وفي تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2011، اعتمدت الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في دورتها التاسعة عشرة قرارا عن السياحة الميسرة، طلبت فيه إلى أمانتها إعداد مبادئ توجيهية للتسهيلات الخاصة بالمعوقين في مختلف مجالات قطاع السياحة.

Welcomes the work of the World Tourism Organization and its World Committee on Tourism Ethics in the implementation of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, as adopted by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in 1999, and welcomes the establishment of the permanent secretariat of the Committee in Rome;
2 - ترحب بالعمل الذي تقوم به منظمة السياحة العالمية واللجنة العالمية المعنية بآداب السياحة التابعة لها تنفيذا للمدونة العالمية لآداب السياحة، بصيغتها التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في عام 1999()، وترحب بإنشاء الأمانة الدائمة للجنة في روما؛

35. The Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization called upon member countries to strengthen their efforts to improve the implementation of the recommendations included in resolution 492 (XVI) 10 on " Accessible tourism for all " , adopted by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization in 2005.
35 - ودعا الأمين العام لمنظمة السياحة العالمية البلدان الأعضاء إلى تعزيز الجهود الرامية إلى تحسين تنفيذ التوصيات الواردة في القرار 492 (XVI) 10 بشأن " السياحة الميسرة للجميع " الذي اتخذته الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في عام 2005.

The Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, adopted by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on 1 October 1999 through its resolution 406 (XIII) and acknowledged by the General Assembly of the United Nations in resolution 56/212, constitutes a comprehensive set of basic principles.
تُشكِّل المدونة العالمية لأخلاقيات السياحة التي اعتمدتها الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في 1 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1999 بموجب قرارها 406 (د-13)، وأقرتها الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في قرارها 56/212 مجموعة شاملة من المبادئ الأساسية.

9. The Secretary-General therefore suggests that the Economic and Social Council take note of the attached resolution of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (resolution 545 (XVII)) and recommend the revised draft annex for final approval by the World Tourism Organization.
9 - ولذلك يقترح الأمين العام أن يحيط المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي علما بقرار الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية (القرار 545 (د-17)) المرفق ويوصي بالموافقة النهائية لمنظمة السياحة العالمية على مشروع المرفق المنقح.

At its 6th plenary meeting, on 29 April 2008, the Economic and Social Council took note of resolution 545 (XVII) adopted on 29 November 2007 by the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization and recommended to the World Tourism Organization for final approval the revised draft annex to the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies annexed to the resolution.
أحاط المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي علما، في جلسته العامة 6، المعقودة في 29 نيسان/أبريل 2008، بالقرار 545 (د - 17) الذي اتخذته الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية في 29 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007()، وأوصى منظمة السياحة العالمية بالموافقة النهائية على مشروع المرفق المنقح لاتفاقية امتيازات الوكالات المتخصصة وحصاناتها المرفق بالقرار.

7. The Secretary-General therefore suggests that the Council take note of the attached resolution of the General Assembly of WTO (resolution 489 (XVI)) and approve the draft annex to the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialized Agencies with respect to the World Tourism Organization.
7 - وعليه، يقترح الأمين العام أن يحيط المجلس علما بالقرار المرفق الصادر عن الجمعية العامة لمنظمة السياحة العالمية (القرار 489 (سادس عشر) وأن يوافق على مشروع مرفق اتفاقية الامتيازات والحصانات الممنوحة للوكالات المتخصصة المتعلق بمنظمة السياحة العالمية.
