كما نظم القانون الآثار المترتبة على الزواج سواء بالنسبة للزوج أو الزوجة والأبناء، ففي حالة زواج أردني من أجنبية، فقد التزم القانون بقاعدة أساسية وهي عدم جواز فرض الجنسية الأردنية على المرأة الأجنبية، إلا بموافقتها الخطية وبطلب تقدمه لهذه الغاية.
