132. According to the Constitution and the Bulgarian citizenship Act Bulgarian citizenship may be acquired in three ways:

The Bulgarian citizenship Act stipulates that any Bulgarian citizens who are permanently residing abroad may request to be released from Bulgarian citizenship if they have acquired another nationality or if there is information showing that a procedure of acquisition of a foreign nationality has been initiated.
وينص قانون الجنسية البلغاري على أن أي مواطن بلغاري يقيم في الخارج بصورة دائمة يحق له طلب التخلي عن الجنسية البلغارية إذا اكتسب جنسية أخرى أو إذا كانت هناك معلومات تدل على شروعه في إجراءات آيلة إلى حيازته جنسية أجنبية.

13. According to the Government, the Citizenship Act states that Bulgarian citizenship acquired through naturalization may be revoked if persons have supplied false information to obtain it.
13- وتبيّن الحكومة أن قانون الجنسية ينص على أنه يمكن سحب الجنسية البلغارية المكتسبة عن طريق التجنُّس إذا كان المعنيون قد قدموا معلومات كاذبة للحصول عليها.

The Government also indicated that the Law provides that any person who has acquired Bulgarian citizenship through naturalization may be deprived of it if the person has been sentenced for a grave crime committed against Bulgaria, subject to the condition that the person is abroad and does not become stateless.

130. This principle of equality for acquirement of Bulgarian citizenship is further developed in the Bulgarian citizenship Act (BCA), which regulates the acquirement, the loss and reinstatement of Bulgarian citizenship as well as the related proceedings.
130 - وطور المبدأ المتعلق بالمساواة في اكتساب الجنسية البلغارية بدرجة أكبر في قانون الجنسية البلغارية، الذي ينظم اكتساب الجنسية البلغارية وفقدانها وإعادة اكتسابها والإجراءات المرتبطة بذلك.

131. Тhe Constitution provides for equal rights of children upon acquirement of Bulgarian citizenship regardless as to whether the parent having Bulgarian citizenship is the mother or the father.
131 - وينص الدستور على المساواة في الحقوق للأطفال عند اكتساب الجنسية البلغارية بغض النظر عما إذا كان الوالد الحائز على الجنسية البلغارية هو الأم أو الأب.

133. The two basic ways for Bulgarian citizenship acquirement (by virtue of origin and by place of birth) are regulated by imperative regulations, which pursue their action immediately under the Constitution.
133 - وتنظم الطريقتان الأساسيتان لاكتساب الجنسية البلغارية (بحكم الأصل وبحكم مكان الولادة) وفقاً لقواعد ملزمة، تتبع إجراءاتها على الفور في إطار الدستور.

These two ways for Bulgarian citizenship acquirement are also in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, item A and respectively Article 6, paragraph 2, item A of the European Convention on Nationality and the Act on Ratification of the European Convention on Nationality (promulgated in the State Gazette No. 102 of 20 December 2005).
وتتفق هاتان الطريقتان لاكتساب الجنسية البلغارية أيضاً على التوالي مع البند ألف من الفقرة 1 من المادة 6 والبند ألف من الفقرة 2 من المادة 6 من الاتفاقية الأوروبية بشأن الجنسية وقانون التصديق على الاتفاقية الأوروبية بشأن الجنسية (المنشور في الجريدة الرسمية رقم 102 في 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2005).

134. According to Article 8 of the BCA " Bulgarian citizen by virtue of origin shall be every person that has at least one parent with Bulgarian citizenship " .
134 - ووفقاً للمادة 8 من قانون الجنسية البلغارية " المواطن البلغاري بحكم الأصل هو أي شخص يحمل أحد والدية على الأقل الجنسية البلغارية " .

135. The acquirement of Bulgarian citizenship by naturalization is also based on the principle of equality: for a child under the age of 14, the application should be submitted by both parents, whereas for persons between 14 and 18 years of age the application should be signed by both parents.
135 - ويستند اكتساب الجنسية البلغارية بالتجنس أيضاً على مبدأ المساواة: بالنسبة لأي طفل دون سن 14 سنة، ينبغي أن يقدم الطلب الوالدان كلاهما، أما بالنسبة للأشخاص الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 14 سنة و 18 سنة، فينبغي أن يوقع الطلب من الوالدين كليهما.

138. Adoption also does not change the citizenship of the adopted child (Article 6 of the Bulgarian citizenship Act) and this norm has a direct relation to the hypotheses of international adoption.
138 - كما أن التبنِّي لا يغير جنسية الطفل المتبنَّى (المادة 6 من قانون الجنسية البلغارية) ولهذه القاعدة علاقة مباشرة بفرضية التبني الدولي.

According to the said Act and the Constitution (Art. 26, paragraph 2) the legally residing foreigners enjoy all rights, provided by the Constitution, except for those that require Bulgarian citizenship.
ووفقاً لذلك القانون وللدستور (الفقرة 2 من المادة 26)، فإن الأجانب المقيمين بشكل قانوني يتمتعون بكل الحقوق التي ينص عليها الدستور، فيما عدا الحقوق التي تتطلب الحصول على الجنسية البلغارية.
