The first International Agreement on jute and jute products had been concluded in 1982.

(ii) In the case of non-jute producing and net jute importing countries, the average volume of their net imports of jute and jute products over the most recent three year period for which relevant statistics are available.

(و) وتشجيع زيادة استعمال الجوت ومنتجات الجوت لحل مسألة الشواغل البيئية.

(د) تشجيع زيادة تجهيز الجوت ومنتجات الجوت ومدى هذا التجهيز.

The Council shall consider issues relating to price instability, and supplies of jute and jute products for export with a view to finding solutions therefor.
1- يواصل المجلس دراسة مسألتي تثبيت أسعار الجوت ومنتجات الجوت وكميات العرض للتصدير بغية إيجاد حلول لها.

The Council shall consider issues relating to competition between jute and jute products on the one hand, and synthetics and substitutes on the other.
2- يدرس المجلس القضايا المتعلقة بالمنافسة بين الجوت ومنتجات الجوت من ناحية والمواد التركيبية والبدائل من ناحية أخرى.

The Conference might want to consider other forms of cooperation on jute and jute products that would encourage the participation of more countries than were attending the Conference.
