To conclude, my humble plea is to urge all of the nations of the world to act on the proposal of former President Khatami of Iran, namely, to seek to transform dialogue among civilizations from a doctrine into a programme of action.

In the same way, there should be greater cooperation with the Alliance of civilizations, in order to discover the roots of the growing polarization between cultures and societies around the world.
