36. The current Government had agreed that the Convention should be incorporated into the Constitution and the mainstreaming of a gender perspective into all laws had formed part of its electoral campaign.
36 - وقد وافقت الحكومة الحالية على ضرورة إدماج الاتفاقية في الدستور وعلى أن تعميم المنظور الجنساني في جميع القوانين جزء من حملتها الانتخابية.

320. The Syrian Arab Republic ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 13 June 1993, under the terms of Act No. 8, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the decision taken by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 5 June 1993.
320- وكانت الجمهورية العربية السورية قد صادقت على اتفاقية حقوق الطفل في 13/6/1993 بموجب القانون رقم 8 بناء على أحكام الدستور وعلى ما أقره مجلس الشعب بجلسته المنعقدة في 5/6/1993 وأصبحت الاتفاقية نافذة في 14/8/1993.

4. The Syrian Arab Republic ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 13 June 1993 under the terms of Legislative Act No. 8, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the decision taken by the People's Assembly at its meeting on 5 June 1993. The Convention entered into force on 14 August 1993.
٤- صادقت الجمهورية العربية السورية على اتفاقية حقوق الطفل في ٣١/٦/٣٩٩١ بموجب القانون رقم ٨ بناء على أحكام الدستور وعلى ما أقره مجلس الشعب بجلسته المنعقدة في ٥/٦/٣٩٩١، وأصبحت الاتفاقية نافذة في ٤١/٨/٣٩٩١.

141. The country was currently preparing for a constitutional referendum, to be held on 23 August 2011, and national elections, to be held in October 2011. The elections will be the first to be conducted fully under the Constitution and by Liberian authorities, following the signing in Accra, in 2003, of the peace agreement.
141 - ويستعد البلد حاليا لاستفتاء دستوري يجري في 23 آب/أغسطس ولانتخابات وطنية تعقد في 21 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2011، وستكون تلك أول انتخابات تجرى بالكامل بموجب الدستور وعلى يد السلطات الليبرية، عقب توقيع اتفاق السلام في أكرا عام 2003.

It also encouraged Guyana to amend the Constitution and delete the provision that allows the employment of part-time judges, which, in the Committee's view, could jeopardize their independence and impartiality.
