The Chairperson summarized the general debate of the sixty-fourth session of the Executive Committee as follows:

(d) Further requests the Standing Committee to report on its work to the sixty-fourth session of the Executive Committee.

Referring to the ongoing Syria crisis, he briefed the Committee on the High-Level Segment on Solidarity and Burden-Sharing with Countries Hosting Syrian Refugees, scheduled to take place during the sixty-fourth session of the Executive Committee.
وأطلع اللجنة، في معرض الإشارة إلى الأزمة السورية المستمرة، على الجزء الرفيع المستوى المتعلق بالتضامن وتقاسم الأعباء مع البلدان المضيفة للاجئين السوريين، المزمع عقده أثناء الدورة الرابعة والستين للجنة التنفيذية.

45. The Chair asked the Committee for its agreement regarding early adoption of the report of his meeting, thereby eliminating the need to convene the Standing Committee in the margins of the sixty-fourth session of the Executive Committee.
45- طلبت الرئيسة إلى اللجنة أن توافق على اعتماد تقرير اجتماعها بصورة مبكرة، بما يعفي من ضرورة اجتماع اللجنة الدائمة على هامش الدورة الرابعة والستين للجنة التنفيذية.

In response to the crisis in the Syrian Arab Republic and the enormous impact of 2.2 million registered refugees on the economies and societies of neighbouring countries the High-Level Segment of the sixty-fourth session of the Executive Committee had been devoted to solidarity and burden-sharing with countries hosting Syrian refugees.
واستجابة للأزمة الحاصلة في الجمهورية العربية السورية والأثر الهائل على اقتصادات ومجتمعات البلدان المجاورة الذي يحدثه وجود 2.2 مليون لاجئ مسجّل، جرى تكريس الجزء الرفيع المستوى من الدورة الرابعة والستين للجنة التنفيذية لمسائل التضامن وتقاسم العبء مع البلدان المستضيفة للاجئين السوريين.
