5. ٥ - في حالة التنازع على مدى قانونية تسجيل مركبة ما أو جنسيتها أو مصادرتها، تقوم الدولة المطالَبة بإخطار السلطة المركزية التابعة للدولة المطالِبة بأن مالك المركبة يجوز له أن يقدم طعنا بموجب تشريعات الدولة المطالَبة.

3. Provided that the requested State complies with the provisions of this Treaty regarding the recovery, safekeeping and custody of the vehicles dealt with in this Treaty, no person shall have the right to claim compensation from the requested State for any damage that occurred while the vehicle was in the custody of the requested State.
٣ - طالما امتثلت الدولة المطالَبة بأحكام هذه المعاهدة فيما يتعلق باسترداد وحراسة وحماية المركبات موضوع هذه المعاهدة، لا يحق ﻷي شخص أن يطالبها بتعويض عما يلحق بالمركبة من أضرار خلال بقائها تحت رعايتها.

(د) أحكام يكون للدولة الطالبة بمقتضاها الحق في المطالبة بالتعويض من الشخص الذي قام بنقل ملكية الممتلكات الثقافية المسروقة أو المصدّرة بطرائق غير مشروعة بهدف الحصول على مبالغ لتسديد أية تعويضات دُفعت إلى الحائز بحسن نيّة، وينبغي للدولة المطالَبة بمقتضاها أن تعتمد التدابير التي تحقّق هذه الغاية (أي أنه على الدولة المطالَبة التعهّد بالتزامات أكبر للدولة الطالبة)؛
