Encourage the ratification and implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, FAO's International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, and the International Plant Protection Convention.
(ﻫ) التشجيع على التصديق على بروتوكول كارتاخينا بشأن السلامة البيولوجية، ومعاهدة الفاو الدولية بشأن الموارد الوراثية النباتية من أجل الأغذية والزراعة، والاتفاقية الدولية لحماية النبات.

(b) Report on quarantine and pre-shipment definitions and contacts with the International Plant Protection Convention relative to quarantine and pre-shipment matters (decision XVIII/14);

Under this item, the Working Group will be expected to review the contacts that the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel has had with the International Plant Protection Convention and the factual information provided by the Secretariat on the definitions of quarantine and preshipment under the Protocol and the International Plant Protection Convention.

That decision also requested the Panel to report to the Openended Working Group at its twenty-seventh meeting on contacts it had made with those technical bodies and requested the Secretariat to provide factual information on the definitions of quarantine and preshipment under the Protocol and the International Plant Protection Convention.
كما يطلب هذا المقرر إلى فريق التكنولوجيا والتقييم الاقتصادي أن يقدم تقريراً إلى الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية في اجتماعه السابع والعشرين عن الاتصالات التي أجراها مع الهيئات التقنية، ويطلب إلى الأمانة أن تقدم معلومات وقائعية عن تعاريف الحجر الصحي وما قبل الشحن بموجب البروتوكول والاتفاقية الدولية لحماية النبات.

In that regard, the Secretariat, together with members of the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel, participated in the second session of the International Plant Protection Convention's Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (Rome, 26 - 30 March 2007).
