430. Conscience and Peace Tax International commented on paragraph 53 of the report, noting that, while it was commendable that relatives of victims of past human rights violations were exempt from military service, this was not a question of conscientious objection.

528. Conscience and Peace Tax International regretted that Greece's report made no mention of conscientious objection to military service, despite the submissions of three stakeholders thereon.
528- وأعربت الهيئة الدولية لضريبة الضمير والسلام عن أسفها لأن تقرير اليونان لم يذكر شيئاً عن الاستنكاف الضميري عن الخدمة العسكرية رغم أن ثلاثاً من الجهات صاحبة المصلحة قد قدمت أوراقاً في هذا الشأن.

On comments made by Conscience and Peace Tax International, the Government had reduced the duration of the civil service for conscientious objectors, and the majority of the members of the special committee deciding on conscientious objection matters were not in the army.
وأمّا بشأن التعليقات التي أدلت بها الهيئة الدولية لضريبة الضمير والسلام، فقد خفّضت الحكومة مدة الخدمة المدنية للمستنكفين ضميرياً، وأغلبية أعضاء اللجنة الخاصة التي تقرر في مسائل الاستنكاف الضميري ليست من أفراد الجيش.

554. Conscience and Peace Tax International raised concerns about freedom of opinion and expression in the light of Turkey's rejection of recommendations for specific changes to articles 301 and 318 of the penal code and the anti-terror law.

5. Conscience and Peace Tax International (CPTI) expressed concerns at the existence of provisions in Law 2510/1997 which, in time of war, provided for mandatory military service as well as for voluntary enlistment from the age of 17.
