٣ - إن اللجنة الدولية لمتابعة اتفاقات بانغي التي يرأسها الفريق أمادو توماني توري، هي الهيئة التي توجه عمل البعثة ﻷنها تتلقى التوجيه السياسي اللازم مباشرة من رؤساء الدول المعنية وبخاصة رئيس جمهورية غابون وهو رئيس اللجنة الدولية للوساطة.

42. The International Monitoring Committee hopes to continue to enjoy the logistical and technical support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in order to pursue its twofold mission of ensuring the political direction of MISAB and monitoring the implementation of the Bangui Agreements through continuing mediation.
٢٤ - وتأمل اللجنة الدولية لمتابعة اتفاقيات بانغي مواصلة الاستفادة من الدعم السﱠوقي والتقني الذي يقدمه برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي من أجل مواصلة قيامها بمهمتها المزدوجة المتمثلة في تأمين اﻹدارة السياسية للبعثة المشتركة ومتابعة اتفاقيات بانغي بتوفير الوساطة الدائمة.

Both the International Monitoring Committee to supervise the implementation of the Bangui Agreements and the Inter-African Mission to Monitor the Implementation of the Bangui Agreements are under the political authority of General Amadou Toumani Touré, former President of the Republic of Mali, Chairman of the International Monitoring Committee and personal representative of the heads of State concerned.
