Reaffirms that everyone is entitled to the right to seek and enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution and, as asylum is an indispensable instrument for the international protection of refugees, calls on all States to refrain from taking measures that jeopardize the institution of asylum, in particular by returning or expelling refugees or asylum-seekers contrary to international human rights, humanitarian and refugee law;
٥ - تؤكد من جديد أن لكل فرد الحق في التماس ملجأ في بلدان أخرى والتمتع به خلاصا من الاضطهاد؛ وبما أن اللجوء أداة لا غنى عنها لحماية اللاجئين دوليا، فهي تدعو جميع الدول إلى الامتناع عن اتخاذ أية تدابير تضر بمؤسسة اللجوء، ولا سيما إعادة اللاجئين أو ملتمسي اللجوء أو طردهم بما يتعارض مع القانون الدولي لحقوق اﻹنسان والقانون اﻹنساني الدولي والقانون الدولي للاجئين؛

5.
