Both Covenants require States parties to ensure the equal right of men and women to the enjoyment of the rights set forth in the two Covenants.

6- تؤكد من جديد وبشدة أن من واجب الدول الأطراف كفالة الاحترام الكامل والمراعاة التامة لاتفاقية فيينا بشأن العلاقات القنصلية، ولا سيما فيما يخص حق الرعايا الأجانب، بصرف النظر عن مركز هجرتهم، في الاتصال بمسؤول في قنصلية بلدانهم في حالة احتجازهم، والتزام الدولة التي يقع الاحتجاز في إقليمها بإبلاغ المواطن الأجنبي بحقه في القيام بذلك؛

If they are arrested or detained, States parties must ensure that undocumented women migrant workers receive humane treatment and have access to due process of the law, including through free legal aid.
