وإن إخفاق الدول اﻷعضاء عن دفع اشتراكاتهم المقررة يقلل من قدرة المنظمة على السداد للمساهمين بقوات ومعــدات.

At the same time, however, his delegation wished to point out that prudent financial management should not be confused with the responsibility of Member States to pay their assessments in full and on time.
غير أن وفده يرغب، في الوقت نفسه، أن يبين أن الادارة المالية الحكيمة ينبغي ألا تُخلط خطأ بمسؤولية الدول اﻷعضاء عن دفع أنصبتها المقررة كاملة وفي الوقت المناسب.

It is unacceptable, and particularly deplorable at the fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations, that the central instrument for international cooperation on vital global issues is practically bankrupt, owing to the failure of Member States to pay their assessed contributions in full, on time and without conditions.
وإنه من غير المقبول ومن المؤسف بصورة خاصة إبان الذكرى السنوية الخمسين ﻹنشاء اﻷمم المتحدة، أن تتسم اﻷداة الرئيسية للتعاون الدولي في القضايا العالمية ذات اﻷهمية الحيوية باﻹفلاس الفعلي بسبب تقاعس الدول اﻷعضاء عن دفع أنصبتها المقررة بالكامل وفي آجالها المحددة وبدون شروط.

10. Many delegations expressed deep concern over the financial situation of the United Nations and the failure of some Member States to pay their assessed contributions to the Organization.
٠١ - وأعرب كثير من الوفود عن قلقه البالغ من الحالة المالية لﻷمم المتحدة وتقاعس بعض الدول اﻷعضاء عن دفع أنصبته المقررة في المنظمة.
