30. In its resolution 1325 (2000), the Security Council emphasized the responsibility of States to end impunity and hold accountable those responsible for war crimes concerning sexual and other types of violence against women.
30- وشدد مجلس الأمن في قراره 1325(2000)، على مسؤولية الدول عن وضع حد للإفلات من العقاب وعن مقاضاة المسؤولين عن جرائم الحرب المتعلقة بالعنف الجنسي الذي تتعرض له النساء وغيره من أشكال العنف.

31. On the international plane, political organs as well as human rights and judicial bodies have, in the words of the Security Council, affirmed the responsibility of States " to end impunity and to prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity and serious violations of humanitarian law " .
31- وعلى الصعيد الدولي، أكدت الهيئات السياسية وهيئات حقوق الإنسان والهيئات القضائية، وفقاً لما جاء على لسان مجلس الأمن، مسؤولية الدول " عن وضع حد للإفلات من العقاب وملاحقة المسؤولين عن الإبادة الجماعية والجرائم المرتكبة بحق الإنسانية والانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الإنساني " (33).

It has repeatedly emphasized the responsibility of all States to put an end to impunity and to prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, including those relating to sexual and other violence against women and girls.
وأكد مراراً مسؤولية كل الدول عن وضع حد للإفلات من العقاب ومقاضاة أولئك المسؤولين عن الإبادة الجماعية والجرائم المرتكبة ضد الإنسانية وجرائم الحرب، بما في ذلك تلك المتعلقة بالعنف الجنسي وما يرتكب من أشكال عنف أخرى ضد النساء والفتيات.

The resolution emphasizes the responsibility of all States to put an end to impunity and to investigate and prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and other egregious crimes perpetrated against children and highlights in this regard the contribution of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with the principle of complementarity to national criminal jurisdictions as set out in the Rome Statute.
ويؤكد على مسؤولية جميع الدول عن وضع حد للإفلات من العقاب على جرائم الإبادة الجماعية والجرائم المرتكبة ضد الإنسانية وجرائم الحرب وغيرها من الجرائم الشنيعة المرتكبة ضد الأطفال والتحقيق في تلك الجرائم ومحاكمة المسؤولين عنها، ويسلط الضوء في هذا الصدد على المساهمة التي تقدمها المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، وفقا لمبدأ التكامل مع الاختصاصات الجنائية الوطنية المنصوص عليه في نظام روما الأساسي.

12. Emphasizes the responsibility of all States to put an end to impunity and to investigate and prosecute those responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and other egregious crimes perpetrated against children and highlights in this regard the contribution of the International Criminal Court, in accordance with the principle of complementarity to national criminal jurisdictions as set out in the Rome Statute;
