40 - تعيد الدول الأطراف التأكيد على أن الإزالة الشاملة للأسلحة النووية تمثل الضمانة الحقيقية الوحيدة لجميع الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية ضد استعمال الأسلحة النووية أو التهديد باستعمالها.

In supporting this resolution, the Kingdom of Morocco reaffirms its conviction that until nuclear disarmament is universal, it is indispensable for the international community to devise effective measures and arrangements to guarantee the security of non-nuclear-weapon States against the use or threat of nuclear weapons, and for such arrangements also to help to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
والمملكة المغربية، وهي تؤيد هذا القرار، تؤكد مجدداً اقتناعها بأنه، ما لم يكن نزع السلاح النووي عالمياً، فلا بد من أن يضع المجتمع الدولي تدابير وترتيبات فعالة من أجل ضمان أمن الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية ضد استعمال هذه الأسلحة أو التهديد باستعمالها وأن هذه الترتيبات يمكن أن تسهم في منع انتشار الأسلحة النووية.
