وإذ تستذكر قرارها 59/115 المؤرَّخ 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2004 بشأن تطبيق مفهوم " الدولة المُطلِقة " ، وقرارها 62/101 المؤرَّخ 17 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2007 الذي يتضمّن توصيات بشأن تعزيز ممارسة الدول والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية في تسجيل الأجسام الفضائية،

(a) Development of legal instruments to be adopted by States and intergovernmental organizations in the field of ocean affairs and the law of the sea in compliance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea as well as action taken to facilitate implementation of existing instruments
