١٣- هناك حاجة في وحدة الشرطة المدنية بإدارة عمليات حفظ السلام إلى وظيفة واحدة جديدة برتبة مد-١، وذلك عملا بالفقرة ٢ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٢/٦٩، الذي أيدت فيه الجمعية العامة مقترحات اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بعمليات حفظ السلام وتوصياتها واستنتاجاتها الواردة في الفقرات ٣٤ إلى ٩١ من تقريرها A/52/209)(.
