At its second session, held in Geneva from 11 to 15 May 2009, the International Conference on Chemicals Management endorsed the establishment of a global partnership to promote the phaseout of the use of lead in paint as an important contribution to the implementation of paragraph 57 of the Plan of Implementation of the World Summit on Sustainable Development and to the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management.
10 - وقد تبنى المؤتمر الدولي المعني بإدارة المواد الكيميائية في دورته الثانية المعقودة في جنيف في الفترة من 11 - 15 أيار/مايو 2009، إقامة شراكة عالمية لتشجيع التخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء كمساهمة كبيرة في تنفيذ الفقرة 57 من خطة التنفيذ الخاصة بمؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة، وفي النهج الاستراتيجي للإدارة الدولية للمواد الكيميائية.

Agrees that a global partnership to support concerted action to promote the phasing out of use of lead in paints will be an important contribution to the implementation of the World Summit on Sustainable Development paragraph 57 and to the Strategic Approach;
1- يوافق على أن شراكة عالمية رامية إلى دعم العمل المنسق للنهوض بالتخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء تساهم مساهمة كبيرة في تنفيذ الفقرة 57 من خطة تنفيذ مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة وفي النهج الاستراتيجي؛

The Global Partnership is a voluntary and collaborative relationship between various parties, governmental, non-governmental, public and private, in which all participants agree to work together in a systematic way to achieve the overall goal of phasing out the use of lead in paints.
الشراكة العالمية هي علاقة طوعية تقوم على التعاون بين مختلف الأطراف الحكومية وغير الحكومية والقطاعين العام والخاص ويوافق في إطارها جميع المشاركين على العمل معاً بشكل منتظم من أجل تحقيق الهدف العام المتمثل في التخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء.

While organizational arrangements for the partnership, now called the Global Alliance to Eliminate lead in paints, are being finalized, current activities and progress include:
11 - وبينما يجري إتمام الترتيبات التنظيمية للشراكة، التي تسمى الآن ' ' التحالف العالمي للقضاء على الرصاص في مواد الطلاء``، تتضمن الأنشطة الحالية وجوانب التقدم المحرز ما يلي:

(e) Effect a global ban on lead in paints through the UNEP/World Health Organization Global Alliance and national regulations;
(هـ) فرض حظر عالمي على استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء من خلال التحالف العالمي لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية والأنظمة الوطنية؛

Decides to establish a Global Partnership to promote Phasing Out of Use of lead in paints under the auspices of the International Conference on Chemicals Management and to adopt as a basis for its work the terms of reference as given in the annex;
2- ويقرر إرساء شراكة عالمية للنهوض بالتخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء برعاية المؤتمر الدولي المعني بإدارة المواد الكيميائية واعتماد الاختصاصات وفقاً للصيغة الواردة في الملحق كأساس ترتكز عليه في عملها؛

The Terms of Reference that follow are for a Global Partnership to Phase-Out Use of lead in paints to support implementation of paragraph 57 of the Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) Plan of Implementation (POI), which states:
فيما يلي اختصاصات شراكة عالمية ترمي إلى التخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء دعماً لتنفيذ الفقرة 57 من خطة تنفيذ مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة المعقود في جوهانسبرغ() التي تنص على ما يلي:

47. ICCM-2 decided to establish a global partnership to promote phasing out the use of lead in paints.
47- وقرر المؤتمر الدولي المعني بإدارة المواد الكيميائية في دورته الثانية إنشاء شراكة عالمية لتعزيز التخلص التدريجي من استخدام الرصاص في مواد الطلاء().
