This differs from what was applicable to the judges of the former United Nations Administrative Tribunal, who were entitled to business class travel regardless of the duration of the flight and payment of daily subsistence allowance at the regular rate plus 40 per cent.
ويختلف هذا عما كان يُطبق على قضاة المحكمة الإدارية السابقة للأمم المتحدة الذين كان يحق لهم السفر في درجة رجال الأعمال بصرف النظر عن مدة الرحلة الجوية ودفع بدل الإقامة اليومي بالمعدلات العادية مضافا إليها نسبة 40 في المائة.

The jurisprudence emerging from the Tribunals indicates that the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations are being analysed and interpreted from a new perspective compared with the jurisprudence from the former United Nations Administrative Tribunal.

12. In December the Division had also taken part in a two-day brainstorming session convened in Istanbul by the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women, Ms. Radhika Coomaraswamy, to gather ideas and suggestions on the future direction of the Special Rapporteur's mandate.

The Secretary-General notes, however, that the members of the former United Nations Administrative Tribunal were considered " experts on mission " for the purposes of the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations and that the Appeals Tribunal judges would also have the same status.
