12. Mr. Strömdahl (Swedish Western Sahara Committee) said that although an end to the conflict in Western Sahara had been within reach many times, every time Morocco had refused to follow through.

15. Ms. Strömdahl (Swedish Western Sahara Committee) recounted the story of a Saharan student living in Morocco who had been beaten and blinded by the Moroccan police during a peaceful demonstration in favour of the Frente POLISARIO.
