62. The Department of Linguistic Matters, currently composed of 17 posts in the Professional category and one in the General Service category, is responsible for the translation of documents to and from the Court's two official languages and provides support to judges.
62 - تتكون إدارة الشؤون اللغوية في الوقت الراهن من 17 وظيفة من الفئة الفنية ووظيفة واحد من فئة الخدمات العامة، وتتولى مسؤولية ترجمة الوثائق إلى اللغتين الرسميتين للمحكمة ومنهما وتقدم الدعم للقضاة.

During the biennium 2004-2005, the Advisory Committee did not recommend the conversion of these two posts for clerical and administrative support functions in the Department of Linguistic Matters and the Department of Press and Information Matters, pending completion of the consultancy study.

The Department of Linguistic Matters is intensifying its efforts in the field of remote (off-site) translation.
