14. The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a party to the instruments listed in annex II, but has not become a party to any new convention since the change of Government.

2. No provision of the instruments listed in paragraph 1 above shall be interpreted to give any right to take any action contrary to the aims and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, or of the Helsinki Final Act, including the principle of the territorial integrity of States.
٢ - لا يفسر أي حكم من أحكام الصكوك المدرجة في الفقرة ١ أعلاه بما يفيد إعطاء أي حق في القيام بعمل يتنافى مع مقاصد ومبادئ ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة أو الوثيقة الختامية لمؤتمر هلسنكي، بما في ذلك مبدأ السلامة اﻹقليمية للدول.

5. The secretariat has been informed that, in addition to those instruments listed in the report to the Council at its seventeenth session (UNEP/GC.17/10), the following conventions and protocols were also adopted during the period covered by that report (1 September 1990-30 June 1992):
٥ - أبلغت اﻷمانة بأنه، إضافة إلى تلك الصكوك المدرجة في التقرير المقدم إلى مجلس الادارة في دورته السابعة عشرة (UNEP/GC.17/10)، اعتمدت أيضا الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات التالية خلال الفترة التي شملها ذلك التقرير )١ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٠ - ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٢(:

(a) Subject to article 2 below, all persons within the territory of the Union of Republics of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall be entitled to enjoy the rights and freedoms provided for in the instruments listed in annex C.
)أ( مع مراعاة المادة ٢ أدناه، يكون لجميع اﻷشخاص داخل أراضي اتحاد جمهوريات البوسنة والهرسك الحق في التمتع بالحقوق والحريات المنصوص عليها في الصكوك المدرجة في المرفق جيم.

(a) Subject to Article V.2, all persons within the territory of the Union of Republics of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall be entitled to enjoy the rights and freedoms provided for in the instruments listed in Annex C.

(a) The Ombudsmen are to protect human dignity, rights and liberties as provided in the Constitutional Agreement and in the instruments listed in annex C thereto, and in the constitutions and legislation of the Constituent Republics, and in particular shall act to reverse the consequences of the violations of these rights and liberties and especially of ethnic cleansing.
)أ( تتمثل مهمة أمناء المظالم في حماية كرامة الانسان وحقوقه وحرياته على النحو المنصوص عليه في الاتفاق الدستوري وفي الصكوك المدرجة في مرفقه جيم وفي دساتير وتشريعات الجمهوريات المؤسسية، ويعملون بوجه خاص على عكس تجاه نتائج انتهاكات هذه الحقوق والحريات وخاصة التطهير اﻹثني.

It was explained that the list of conventions in paragraph 16.3 was not yet complete, since the instruments listed had been supplemented by further protocols and amendments, one of which was the Protocol to Amend the 1963 Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage (1998).

25. The AHRC can also inquire into complaints concerning alleged breaches of human rights by the Australian Government or an Australian Government authority (based on the rights included in the instruments listed at paragraph ), or discrimination in the area of employment on numerous grounds including sexual preference, criminal record, trade union activity, political opinion, religion or social origin.
25- وتستطيع اللجنة الأسترالية لحقوق الإنسان أيضاً أن تحقق في الشكاوى المتعلقة بالانتهاكات المزعومة لحقوق الإنسان من طرف الحكومة الاسترالية أو أي سلطة تابعة لها (على أساس الحقوق المشار إليها في الصكوك المدرجة في القائمة في الفقرة 16)، أو التمييز في مجال العمالة لأسباب عديدة منها تفضيل جنس على آخر، أو على أساس السجل الجنائي، أو النشاط النقابي، أو الرأي السياسي، أو الأصل الديني أو الاجتماعي.
