During 2010, UNRWA further improved its financial management procedures and systems, achieving for the first time the monthly closing of its accounts, monthly financial reports on the UNRWA General Fund, and a monthly income statement, balance sheet, and expenditure disaggregation by programme, human development goal and resource.
23 - وفي أثناء عام 2010، زادت الوكالة تحسين إجراءاتها ونظمها للإدارة المالية، حيث حققت للمرة الأولى الإغلاق الشهري لحساباتها وقدمت تقارير مالية شهرية عن الصندوق العام للوكالة وبياناً شهرياً عن الإيرادات وكشفاً للميزانية وتوزيعاً للنفقات مفصلاً بحسب البرنامج وهدف التنمية البشرية ومواردها.

24. The Working Group notes with grave concern the exceptionally large funding gap anticipated for the UNRWA General Fund not only in 2011 but also for the next biennium and reiterates that it is the responsibility of the international community to ensure that UNRWA services are maintained at an acceptable level, in quantitative and qualitative terms, and that funding keeps pace with the changing needs and growth of the refugee population.
