The tool kit, which will assist Member States in compiling comparable treatment data, is being developed as part of the activities of the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse of UNODC, in collaboration with EMCDDA and experts of other international agencies and expert bodies.

The UNODC Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse continued to assist States in the establishment of national drug information systems that promote, support and facilitate the reporting of comparable drug consumption data.

Thematic evaluations were conducted on computer-based training, the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse and the impact of support services on programme delivery in 2005, and the Independent Evaluation Unit backstopped another 25 project evaluations.

64. Since 1999, through the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse, UNODC has provided assistance to 51 countries in the form of training, situation analyses and network establishment.
64- ومنذ عام 1999، قدّم المكتب المساعدة، من خلال البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدّرات، إلى 51 بلدا في شكل تدريب وتحليلات للأوضاع وإنشاء الشبكات.

Although drug abuse is not yet a major problem in Turkey, it is being addressed under the UNODC's project " Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse " .

A new analytical tool, the multidimensional analysis of the drug abuse situation, has been developed by the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse of UNODC to provide a more comparable basis for the assessment of different dimensions of the drug abuse problem and for the monitoring of regional differences in selected key epidemiological indicators.
4- وقد أعد البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات، التابع لمكتب المخدرات والجريمة، أداة تحليلية جديدة، هي التحليل المتعدد الأبعاد لحالة تعاطي لمخدرات، لتوفير أساس أكثر قابلية للمقارنة لتقييم أبعاد مختلفة لمشكلة تعاطي المخدرات ولرصد الفوارق الإقليمية في مؤشرات وبائية مختارة.

As part of the work undertaken by the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse, the Secretariat has recently carried out two global data audits, one on demand for drug treatment and another on drug abuse among youth, in order to strengthen the global information base on key drug epidemiological indicators.
51- وكجزء من الأعمال التي يضطلع بها البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات، أجرت الأمانة مؤخرا حصرين للبيانات العالمية، أحدهما عن الطلب على العلاج من تعاطي المخدرات والآخر عن تعاطي المخدرات بين الشباب، وذلك من أجل تعزيز قاعدة المعلومات العالمية عن المؤشرات الرئيسية لوبائيات المخدرات.

Through the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse, UNODC has supported Member States in data collection and drug abuse epidemiology.
32- من خلال البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات (البرنامج التقييمي العالمي)، قدّم المكتب الدعم إلى الدول الأعضاء في جمع البيانات والدراسة الوبائية لتعاطي المخدرات.

33. In the area of data collection and drug abuse epidemiology, UNODC has continued to provide technical assistance to Member States through the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse.
33- وأما في مجال جمع البيانات ودراسة الانتشار الوبائي لتعاطي المخدرات، فقد واصل مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة توفير المساعدة التقنية للدول الأعضاء عبر البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات.

A further three thematic evaluations (on computer-based training, the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse and the impact of support services on programme delivery) are being undertaken in 2005.
ويجري في عام 2005 إنجاز 3 تقييمات موضوعية إضافية (التدريب الحاسوبي، والبرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات، وتأثير خدمات الدعم في إنجاز البرامج).

The Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse has contributed to the further improvement of drug abuse information systems in a number of countries. To date, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has provided technical assistance under the Global Assessment Programme to over 50 countries in the form of training, situation analysis and network establishment.
42- ساهم البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات في مواصلة تحسين نظم المعلومات المتعلقة بتعاطي المخدرات في عدد من البلدان.(8) وقدّم المكتب حتى الآن مساعدة تقنية في إطار البرنامج التقييمي العالمي إلى أكثر من 50 بلدا في شكل دورات تدريبية وتحليل للأوضاع وإنشاء شبكات.

Through the Global Assessment Programme on Drug Abuse, UNODC supported Member States in: data collection and drug abuse epidemiology, contributing to the collection of more complete and standardized data; an improved information base on the drug abuse situation in the regions assisted directly by the Programme; and the provision of assistance to over 70 countries.
63- وقدّم المكتب دعما للدول الأعضاء من خلال البرنامج العالمي لتقييم مدى انتشار تعاطي المخدرات في ما يلي: جمع البيانات ودراسة العوامل المؤثرة على انتشار تعاطي المخدرات، والمساهمة في جمع بيانات أوفى على أسس قياسية؛ وقاعدة معلومات محسّنة عن حالة تعاطي المخدرات في المناطق التي تتلقى مساعدة مباشرة من البرنامج؛ وتقديم المساعدة إلى أكثر من 70 بلدا.
