3. Consideration of the ideas presented to the 2001 Amman summit by Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, Leader of the Great 1 September Revolution

Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi presented a proposal to world leaders, which they all approved.
قدم الأخ العقيد معمر القذافي اقتراحا لرؤساء العالم ووافقوا عليه.

Last year, its adherents did play an important role in the removal of Libya’s brutal dictator, Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi. Many subsequently matured politically, revised their worldview, and shifted from armed to unarmed activism, forming political parties and contesting elections.
وفي العام الماضي، لعب أتباعها دوراً مهما في الإطاحة بدكتاتور ليبيا الوحشي العقيد معمر القذافي. وفي وقت لاحق، وبعد نضوجهم سياسيا، نقح العديد منهم نظرتهم للعالم، وتحولوا من النشاط المسلح إلى النشاط غير المسلح، فشكلوا أحزاباً سياسية وخاضوا الانتخابات.

The proposals build on the outcome of the meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee held in Pretoria on 26 June 2011, which, inter alia, welcomed Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's commitment to an inclusive dialogue process with the participation of the Transitional National Council of Libya, as well as acceptance of not being part of the negotiation process.
وتعتمد المقترحات على محصلة الجلسة التي عقدتها اللجنة المخصصة في بريتوريا في 26 حزيران/يونيه 2011، والتي خلصت فيها إلى جملة عناصر من بينها الترحيب بالتزام العقيد معمر القذافي بقيام عملية حوار تضم كافة الأطراف ويشارك فيها المجلس الوطني الانتقالي لليبيا، وبقبوله عدم المشاركة في عملية التفاوض.

On instructions from my country, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a copy of an initiative of Colonel Muammar Qaddafi, Leader of the Revolution of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, towards the resolution of the Korean crisis.
بناء على تعليمات من بلادي يشرفني أن أرفق لكم طيه نسخة من مبادرة قائد الثورة الأخ العقيد معمر القذافي بشأن حل الأزمة الكورية.

In this connection the President of the Republic of Chad, His Excellency Colonel Idriss Deby, has sent a number of messages to His Excellency Colonel Muammar Qaddafi, the Leader of the Libyan Revolution. In the messages the Head of the Chadian State proposed that the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Chad and the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya should meet to discuss the procedure for implementing the Judgment of the Court.
وقد أرسل فخامة العقيد ادريس دبي، رئيس الجمهورية التشادية في هذا الصدد عدة رسائل الى فخامة العقيد معمر القذافي قائد الثورة الليبية، يقترح عليه فيها اجتماع وزيري خارجية البلدين لبحث طرائق تنفيذ ذلك الحكم.

In his meeting with law, justice and prosecution officials, Colonel Muammar Qaddafi called on the Libyan people to abolish the exceptional People's Court and other similar institutions as well as the criminal laws promulgated by the Revolution Command Council before the establishment of the People's Authority and to put normal procedural and criminal laws back into force.
في لقائه برجال القانون والقضاء والنيابة، ناشد العقيد معمر القذافي الشعب الليبي أن يلغي محكمة الشعب الاستثنائية وما في حكمها، وكذلك قوانين العقوبات التي أصدرها مجلس قيادة الثورة قبل قيام سلطة الشعب، وأن يعاد العمل بقوانين الإجراءات والعقوبات العادية.

With a view to achieving progress in resolving some of the sensitive political issues of concern to the Libyan Government, on 5 December 1998, I travelled to the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya and had fruitful and constructive discussions with the Leader of the Revolution, Colonel Muammar Qaddafi, and senior Libyan officials.
ولكي يمكن تحقيق تقدم نحو تسوية بعض المسائل السياسية الحساسة التي تشغل بال الحكومة الليبية، سافرت إلى الجماهيرية العربية الليبية يوم ٥ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٨ وأجريت محادثات مثمرة وبناءة مع قائد الثورة العقيد معمر القذافي وكبار المسؤولين الليبيين.

President Abdikassim Salad Hassan commended the efforts undertaken by Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, Leader of the Great 1 September Revolution, to promote concord and national reconciliation in Somalia.
وأثنى الرئيس عبد القاسم صلاد حسن على الجهود التي قام بها الأخ العقيد معمر القذافي قائد ثورة الفاتح العظيم من أجل الوفاق والمصالحة الوطنية في الصومال.

His Excellency Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, Leader of the Revolution, had personally launched an anti-hunger initiative at the tenth summit of the Community of Sahelo-Saharan States, held in Benin in June 2008.
وقد أطلق الأخ العقيد معمر القذافي قائد الثورة، شخصيا مبادرة لمكافحة الجوع في اجتماع القمة العاشر لتجمع الساحل - الصحراء، المعقود في بنن في حزيران/ يونيه 2008.

Therefore, in order for the continent to be truly capable of facing the challenge of disputes, disease and backwardness, as well as others imposed by new international situations, Brother Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, the Leader of the revolution, has pursued his efforts to unify the continent so that it may be ushered into the new century strong and unified.
ولكي تكون القارة قادرة فعلا على التصدي لمختلف التحديات كالمنازعات والأمراض والتخلف وغيرها من التحديات الأخرى التي تفرضها الأوضاع الدولية الجديدة، فقد واصل الأخ العقيد معمر القذافي قائد الثورة جهوده لتوحيد القارة حتى تدخل القرن الجديد وهي قوية وموحدة.

1. To request the ministerial committee established to consider the ideas presented to the 2001 Amman summit by Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, Leader of the Great 1 September Revolution, to continue its work and bring its task to a speedy conclusion;

He also informed the Council that the International Criminal Court had issued warrants for the arrest of Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, his son, Saif alIslam al-Qadhafi, and Abdullah al-Senussi, head of the Libyan security services, for crimes against humanity.
كما أبلغ المجلس بأن المحكمة الجنائية الدولية قد أصدرت أوامر بالقبض على العقيد معمر القذافي وابنه سيف الإسلام القذافي، والسيد عبد الله السنوسي، رئيس أجهزة الأمن الليبية، بتهمة ارتكاب جرائم ضد الإنسانية.

Mr. Shalghem (Libyan Arab Jamahiriya) (spoke in Arabic): At the outset, I would like to express the condolences of the Libyan people and their leader, Colonel Muammar Al-Qadhafi, to the people and Government of the United States of America for the tragedy spawned by Hurricane Katrina.

EXETER – Commenting on the recent Algerian hostage crisis on an international news channel, one terrorism “expert” made a remarkable claim: “Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) was founded because of the so-called Arab Spring, after we abandoned our Libyan ally [Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi].”
إكستر ــ في تعليق على أزمة الرهائن الأخيرة في الجزائر على قناة إخبارية دولية شهيرة، قال أحد "خبراء" مكافحة الإرهاب: "تأسس تنظيم القاعدة في بلاد المغرب الإسلامي بسبب ما يسمى بالربيع العرب...بعد أن تخلينا عن حليفنا الليبي (العقيد معمر القذافي)." وبعد أن تحملت بضعة أخطاء فادحة أخرى، شعرت بأنني مضطر إلى تنحية أوراق الطلاب التي كنت أقـيّمها جانبا والشروع في كتابة مقال.

Paying tribute to the role of the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, under the wise leadership of H.E. Colonel Moamar Gaddafi, in achieving the Tripoli Agreement of 1976 and in hosting the first preliminary talks in Tripoli from 3 to 4 October 1992 and the Unity and Solidarity Meeting of the MNLF leaders on 6 April 2003;
