We demand that the United States put an end to the unilateral embargo against Cuba, the continuation of which serves no other purpose than to intensify tension between the two neighbouring countries and in the region and is a disservice to regional and international peace and security and the interests of friendly relations among peoples.
إننا نطالب الولايات المتحدة بإنهاء الحصار الأحادي الجانب على كوبا، والذي لا يخدم استمراره أي غرض سوى زيادة التوتر بين البلدين الجارين وفي المنطقة، ويضر بالسلم والأمن الإقليميين والدوليين وبمصلحة العلاقات الودية بين الشعوب.

The Working Group reaffirms that racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance condoned by governmental policies violate human rights and may endanger friendly relations among peoples, cooperation among nations and international peace and security.
ويؤكد الفريق العامل أن تغاضي السياسات الحكومية عن العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب يعد انتهاكاً لحقوق الإنسان، وقد يعرض للخطر العلاقات الودية بين الشعوب والتعاون بين الأمم والسلام والأمن الدوليين.

Mr. GUBAREVICH (Belarus) recalled that human rights were universal and indivisible and that all Governments should cooperate to resolve humanitarian problems together and to promote international peace and security and friendly relations among peoples.

8- نعرب عن اقتناعنا بأن المحافل السياسية القائمة على العنصرية أو كره الأجانب أو فلسفات التفوق العنصري والتمييز يجب أن تدان باعتبارها لا تتفق والديمقراطية والشفافية والحكم المسؤول، وبأن التمييز العنصري الذي تتغاضى عنه السياسات الحكومية هو انتهاك لحقوق الإنسان ويعرض للخطر العلاقات الودية بين الشعوب والتعاون بين الأمم والسلم والأمن الدوليين؛
