In accordance with General Assembly resolution 56/51, the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee considered a single issue/item for discussion on mobilization of financial resources to develop capacity in space science and technology applications.
143- وفقا لقرار الجمعية العامة 56/51، نظرت اللجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية في موضوع/بند مناقشة منفرد يتعلق بحشد الموارد المالية من أجل تنمية القدرات في ميدان تطبيقات العلوم والتكنولوجيا الفضائية.

The view was expressed that programmes to develop capacity in space science and technology applications did not concern only matters of financing, even if financing constituted a crucial element in the implementation of such programmes.
147- وأعرب عن رأي مفاده أن البرامج الخاصة بتنمية القدرات في ميدان تطبيقات العلوم والتكنولوجيا الفضائية لا تعنى فقط بمسائل التمويل، حتى وان كان التمويل يشكّل عنصرا حاسما في تنفيذ هذه البرامج.

4. Takes note with satisfaction for the large scale participation of the OIC Member States in the Third U.N. Conference on the Peaceful Exploitation and Utilization of the Extra-Atmospheric Space (UNISPACE) held from 19-30 July 1999 in Vienna to study the appropriate ways and means to promote an effective cooperation between the OIC Member States in the field of Space Science and Technologies for a sustainable development.
4 - يسجل بارتياح المشاركة الواسعة النطاق للدول الأعضاء في منظمة المؤتمر الإسلامي في مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث حول الاستخدام والاستغلال السلميين للفضاء الواقع وراء الغلاف الجوي الذي عقد في فيينا في الفترة من 19 إلى 30 تموز/يوليه 1999م، من أجل دراسة السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بتعزيز التعاون بين الدول الأعضاء في المنظمة في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا الفضائية خدمة للتنمية المستدامة.
