It seems essential, therefore, to evolve a new consensus with regard to the entire gamut of disarmament, arms control and non-proliferation issues, based on the principles of the Charter and global agreements, especially the Declaration and Programme of Action adopted by the first special session of the General Assembly devoted to Disarmament.
ولذا يبدو من الضروري أن يُصاغ توافق آراء جديد بشأن كامل نطاق قضايا نزع السلاح وتحديد الأسلحة ومنع الانتشار، وذلك على أساس مبادئ الميثاق والاتفاقات العالمية، خاصة الإعلان وبرنامج العمل اللذين اعتمدتهما الدورة الاستثنائية الأولى للجمعية العامة المكرسة لنـزع السلاح.

35. A participant recalled that he had been requested to submit an evaluation and study on the practical implementation of the two programmes of Action adopted by the Commission on Human Rights as part of the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the adoption of the Programme of Action for the Prevention of the Sale of Children.
35- وأشار أحد المشتركين إلى أنه كان قد طلب إليه إجراء تقييم ودراسة عن تنفيذ برنامجي العمل اللذين اعتمدتهما لجنة حقوق الإنسان في إطار الاحتفال بمرور عشر سنوات على اعتماد برنامج العمل لمنع بيع الأطفال.

Recalling further the Declaration of Principles and the Plan of Action adopted by the World Summit on the Information Society at its first phase, held in Geneva from 10 to 12 December 2003,
وإذ تشير كذلك إلى إعلان المبادئ وخطة العمل اللذين اعتمدتهما القمة العالمية لمجتمع المعلومات في مرحلتها الأولى التي عقدت في جنيف في الفترة من 10 إلى 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003(

It is consistent with the Statement of Principles and Programme of Action adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 46/152 of 18 December 1991 and the priority themes adopted by the Economic and Social Council in its resolution 1992/22 to guide the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

وندعو إلى التنفيذ الفعال وفي حينه للإعلان وخطة العمل اللذين اعتمدتهما الجمعية العامة في دورتها الاستثنائية السابعة والعشرين(5).

(c) The Declaration and Plan of Action adopted by the General Assembly Special Session on Children in 2002 (A World Fit for Children) provide a more detailed vision for children, and are of particular relevance to the work of UNICEF;
