(a) To consider, inter alia, the following indicative elements: scope, definitions, prohibition of reproductive cloning of human beings, national implementation, including penalties and preventive measures, jurisdiction, promotion and strengthening of international cooperation and technical assistance, collection, exchange and analysis of information and mechanisms for monitoring implementation;

2. Also decided that the working document entitled " Certain indicative elements in relation to the outcome document " shall constitute a basis for discussion and negotiations at the present session of the Preparatory Committee, without prejudice to the possibility for other stakeholders to make further proposals;

13. At its fourth meeting, on 5 September 2008, the working group had before it a working document submitted by the Chairperson-Rapporteur, entitled " Certain indicative elements in relation to the outcome document " (A/CONF.211/PC/WG.1/CRP.2).
13- عُرضت على الفريق العامل، في جلسته الرابعة التي عُقدت في 5 أيلول/سبتمبر 2008، ورقة عمل مقدمة من الرئيس - المقرر معنونة " بعض العناصر الإرشادية المتعلقة بالوثيقة الختامية " (A/CONF.211/PC/WG.1/CRP.2).

27. Requests the secretariat of the Forum to circulate to the member States, by 31 July 2006, a compilation of the draft indicative elements and other proposals submitted by members during the sixth session, which are contained in the annex to the present resolution, as well as any further proposals submitted by members by 30 June 2006;
27 - يطلب إلى أمانة المنتدى أن تعمم على الدول الأعضاء، بحلول 31 تموز/يوليه 2006، مجموعة نصوص مسودة العناصر الإرشادية والاقتراحات الأخرى المقدمة من الأعضاء في أثناء الدورة السادسة، والتي ترد في مرفق هذا القرار، وكذلك أي اقتراحات أخرى يقدمها الأعضاء بحلول 30 حزيران/يونيه 2006؛

Prior to the meeting of experts, the secretariat circulated to member States a compilation of the draft indicative elements and other proposals submitted by members during the sixth session, as well as further proposals submitted by 30 June 2006.
وقامت الأمانة، تمهيدا لاجتماع فريق الخبراء، بتعميم وثيقة على الدول الأعضاء تجمع فيها مشروع العناصر الإرشادية والاقتراحات الأخرى المقدمة من الأعضاء في أثناء الدورة السادسة، فضلا عن أي اقتراحات أخرى قدمها الأعضاء بحلول 30 حزيران/يونيه 2006.

The Council also requested the secretariat of the Forum, in paragraph 27 of the same resolution, to circulate to member States, by 31 July 2006, a compilation of the draft indicative elements and other proposals submitted by members during the sixth session as well as any further proposals submitted by members by 30 June 2006.
وطلب المجلس أيضا إلى أمانة المنتدى بالفقرة 27 من القرار ذاته أن تعمم على الدول الأعضاء بحلول 31 تموز/يوليه 2006، وثيقة تجمع فيها مشروع العناصر الإرشادية والاقتراحات الأخرى المقدمة من الأعضاء في أثناء الدورة السادسة، فضلا عن أي اقتراحات أخرى يقدمها الأعضاء بحلول 30 حزيران/يونيه 2006.

(b) Requested the Forum to conclude and adopt at its seventh session a non-legally binding instrument on all types of forests and requested the secretariat of the Forum to circulate to the member States, by 31 July 2006, a compilation of the draft indicative elements and other proposals submitted by members during the sixth session;

Decides that the working document entitled " Certain indicative elements in relation to the outcome document " shall constitute a basis for discussion and negotiations at the present session of the Preparatory Committee, without prejudice to the possibility of other stakeholders making further proposals;
2 - تقرر أن تشكل وثيقة العمل المعنونة " بعض العناصر الإرشادية المتصلة بالوثيقة الختامية " أساسا للمناقشة والتفاوض في الدورة الحالية للجنة التحضيرية، دون استبعاد إمكانية قيام جهات معنية أخرى بتقديم مقترحات أخرى؛

The following are some indicative elements which could be developed over the coming weeks in consultation with members and concerned parties and finalized in due course taking into consideration the conclusions of the Secretary-General's Panel on a New Study on Systemwide Coherence in the Areas of Humanitarian Assistance:

The Preparatory Committee also decided that working document entitled " Certain indicative elements in relation to the outcome document " (see A/CONF.211/PC.3/2, annex IV) shall constitute a basis for discussion and negotiations at the present session of the Preparatory Committee, without prejudice to the possibility for other stakeholders to make further proposals.
وقررت اللجنة التحضيرية أيضاً أن تشكل وثيقة العمل المعنونة " بعض العناصر الإرشادية المتصلة بالوثيقة الختامية " (انظر الوثيقة A/CONF.211/PC.3/2، المرفق الرابع) أساساً للمناقشة والتفاوض في الدورة الحالية للجنة التحضيرية، دون استبعاد إمكانية قيام جهات معنية أخرى بتقديم مزيد من المقترحات.

It submitted its recommendations of 17 October 2008 (A/CONF.211/PC.3/2), including certain indicative elements in relation to the outcome document and proposals with regard to the modalities of negotiations on the draft outcome document to the second substantive session of the Preparatory Committee.
وقدم توصياته المؤرخة 17 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2008 (A/CONF.211/PC.3/2) إلى الدورة الموضوعية الثانية للجنة التحضيرية، وهي توصيات تشمل بعض العناصر الإرشادية المتصلة بالوثيقة الختامية ومقترحات متعلقة بطرائق التفاوض بشأن تلك الوثيقة.

3. As outlined above, in its resolution 2006/49, the Economic and Social Council decided that the Forum should, within its existing resources, convene an open-ended ad hoc expert group for up to five days to consider the content of the non-legally binding instrument, drawing on the compilation of draft indicative elements and other proposals submitted by member States during the sixth session of the Forum.
3 - كما ذكر أعلاه، قرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي في قراره 49/2006 أن يقوم المنتدى، في حدود الموارد المتاحة له، بعقد اجتماع لفريق خبراء مخصص مفتوح باب العضوية لمدة قد تصل إلى خمسة أيام للنظر في محتوى الصك غير الملزم قانونا، مستندا في ذلك إلى الوثيقة التجميعية لمشروع العناصر الإرشادية والاقتراحات الأخرى المقدمة من الدول الأعضاء خلال الدورة السادسة للمنتدى.
