20. In view of the population growth and multiple construction developments in the area of separation and area of limitation, the expansion of agricultural and cattle grazing areas, and an overall increase in civilian activities, UNDOF continued its efforts as a matter of course to liaise with local authorities and civilians to explain the mission's mandate and activities.
