12. A further meeting was held between the Committee and the Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Prevention on 16 May 2013, at which the latter submitted to the Committee the sixth public annual report of the Subcommittee (CAT/C/50/2).

(d) Elections of the members of the Subcommittee on Prevention shall be held at biennial meetings of the States Parties convened by the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
(د) تُجرى انتخابات أعضاء اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التعذيب في اجتماعات للدول الأطراف تعقد كل سنتين بدعوة من الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة.

4. In part VI, article 25, paragraph 1, the Optional Protocol states that expenditures incurred by the Subcommittee on Prevention in the implementation of the Protocol shall be borne by the United Nations.
4- وتنص الفقرة 1 من المادة 25 من الجزء السادس من البروتوكول الاختياري على أن تتحمل الأمم المتحدة النفقات التي تتكبدها اللجنة الفرعية لمنع التعذيب في تنفيذ البروتوكول.

(a) To receive the Subcommittee on Prevention in their territory and grant it access to the places of detention as defined in article 4 of the present Protocol;
