The Commission, in section I of resolution 37/7, noted with concern that only a few Governments had established national committees or designated national focal points, and urged all Governments to do so without delay.

9. Financial resources and technical and implementation assistance (section I of the draft text)

The Working Group agreed to forward the draft decision, as amended and as set out in section I of annex I to the present report, to the Twenty-Fifth Meeting of the Parties for further consideration.

The Advisory Committee points out that up-to-date financial performance data for the current period should be included in the reports on cost estimates for the coming financial period, as originally recommended by the Committee and requested by the General Assembly in resolution 49/233 A, section I, paragraph 6.

It wished to recall, however, that the General Assembly had decided, in resolution 49/233 A, section I, paragraph 4, that for peacekeeping operations with budgetary requirements subject to fluctuation, budget estimates would be considered and approved by the Assembly twice a year, for the periods from 1 July to 31 December and from 1 January to 30 June.
غير أنه يودُّ أن يشير أيضاً إلى أن الجمعية العامة قررت، في الفقرة 4 من الفرع طاء من قرارها 49/233 ألف، أن تقوم الجمعية بالنظر في ميزانيات البعثات التي تتعرض ميزانياتها لاحتياجات متقلبة وإقرارها مرتين في السنة، الأولى في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير والثانية في 30 حزيران/يونية.

Following those discussions the Working Group agreed to forward the draft decision, enclosed in its entirety in square brackets as set out in section I of annex I to the present report, to the TwentyFourth Meeting of the Parties for further consideration, on the understanding that interested parties would continue to work to resolve outstanding issues before that meeting.
176- وعقب تلك المناقشات، اتفق الفريق العامل على أن يحيل مشروع المقرر، مع وضع أقواس معقَّوفة حول النصّ بأكمله، على النحو المبيَّن في الفرع طاء من المرفق الأول لهذا التقرير، إلى الاجتماع الرابع والعشرين للأطراف لمواصلة النظر فيه، على أساس أن يواصل أعضاء فريق الاتصال العمل لتسوية المسائل العالقة قبل ذلك الاجتماع.
