(c) Provide training to medical and health professionals in order to ensure that Dalit women and women from scheduled tribes are attended by trained health-care personnel.

It notes with concern the financial, cultural and physical barriers faced by Dalit women and women from scheduled tribes in gaining access to gynaecological and maternal health services, their limited knowledge of birth registration procedures and the existence of bureaucratic obstacles and financial barriers that prevent them from registering births and obtaining birth certificates for their children.

(a) Monitor the availability and efficiency of the legal services authorities, implement legal literacy programmes, raise the awareness of Dalit women and women and girls from scheduled tribes of all legal remedies available to them and monitor the results of such efforts;
(أ) رصد مدى توافر الهيئات المكلفة بتقديم الخدمات القانونية، ومدى فعاليتها، وتنفيذ برامج للتعريف بالقانون، وزيادة الوعي لدى نساء الداليت ونساء وفتيات القبائل المصنفة بجميع سبل الانتصاف القانونية المتاحة لهن، ورصد نتائج تلك الجهود؛

أما القانون المتعلق بالقبائل المصنَّفة وسائر سكان الغابات التقليديين (الاعتراف بالحقوق المتعلقة بالغابات)، 2006، فإنه يُسنِد الحقوق المتعلقة بالغابات والإقامة في الغابات إلى القبائل المصنفة وسائر سكان الغابات من أجل معالجة عدم ضمان حيازة الأرض وحقوق الوصول إليها.

Under the scheduled tribes and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, as of February 2012, India had settled 2.72 million claims out of the 3.17 million filed, or 86 per cent of the total claims and 1.25 million titles distributed.

11. Section 4(4) of the scheduled tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act 2006 provides that right conferred under this Act shall be registered jointly in the name of both the spouses in case of married persons.
